Skincare Splurge: Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder
Makeup artists are commonly known as one dimensional when it comes to beauty, but let that stop here. I have always believed that makeup is complementary to healthy skin, and healthy skin is achieved with the right mix of products and good habits. A Skincare Splurge is rare for me, unless it is pleasurable to use and keeps every promise it makes and then some. Enter, Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder.
This product is a game-changer for exfoliation. Packaged in a chic jar with an air-sealed lid, the rice powder completely resurfaces the skin better than any gritty scrub I have used to date, and is gentle enough for sensitive skin. Just a few shakes of the jar into my wet hand, and it starts to form a paste which I then massage into my face, neck, and decolletage.
Onto the price, which makes it a Splurge: it is $65. BUT. But, I bought mine in July of 2015 and I have barely used half of it, though I use it weekly. I'm convinced it will take me until this July to finish it off. There rests my case. Though it was a bit of a stretch when I first purchased it, I had no idea it would stick around this long and give my skin the lit-from-within-glow.
