Monthly Favorites: Snakeskin Heels
There are clothes and accessories I have purchased over the years that bring my closet to completion: pieces that allow me to whip up any outfit I need, no matter the occasion. The latest addition to my shoe collection has breathed new life into my existing Spring wardrobe, and they are these strappy snake heels I scored on sale at Zara for $20.
I operate under the pretense that animal print is a neutral, so I find prints like this snake match almost anything, but look extra put-together paired with tones similar to those in the shoes. I gravitated toward my trench, (men's) classic cotton sweater, and a form-fitting mid-length skirt to sensibly balance the spiky shoe. My simple basics look intentionally styled and effortless, and it was just a new pair of shoes that made the magic happen.
